Subject	brakes making a scraping sound after they have been changed

Message	I changed my front brake pads last wednesday, and then on sunday as i was driving home from a meeting they started making a scraping sound when i applied the brakes. Also when i turned they made this sound. Then when i tried testing the brakes in my driveway they didnt make the sound. Until tonight when i was driving back home from work I also smelled this smell as if vinyl was burning. The sound that im am talking about is the same sound as when the pads wear out and it rubs against the rotor. Thanks in advance for any help.
